With a wide array of knowledge and experience spanning the entertainment industry, Ariana Mayman brings her creativity and artistic visions to the fabulous world of makeup!
The Beginning! Born and raised in Los Angeles, Ariana’s creativity and love for the arts started at a very young age. Always singing, performing, dancing, drawing, and playing sports, Ariana had her hands in many different creative pots throughout her childhood. Her love for makeup began at a young age doing what most girls do – get caught playing with their mother’s blush and eyeshadows.
Education! While completing four years at the beautiful University of California at Santa Barbara, Ariana worked for the University’s Advancement Office, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars through telefunding for student programs. This is where her understanding and passion for the sales world began. After receiving her Bachelor’s of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Exercise and Sports Studies, Ariana ventured off into Santa Barbara’s “real world” and landed in the radio industry as a Marketing Coordinator doing advertising and sales. Throughout her five years in Santa Barbara, Ariana continued to develop her love and passion for makeup by practicing her skill on friends, expanding her personal makeup kit, working on models for minor photoshoots, and studying countless books, magazines, blogs, and eventually online video tutorials.

The Makeup World! Santa Barbara’s tiny bubble was too constricting for this big-city girl! Ariana moved back to her hometown of Los Angeles and worked as a Marketing Coordinator for a big-time music publishing company building websites, creating flyers and swag, working tradeshows, handling company clients and running special events. After two years, it was time for her to make the switch to pursue her dreams and join the makeup world professionally. After graduating at the top of her class from Make-up Designory – Burbank, Ariana ventured off into the makeup industry to make her dreams of living a life of creativity, art, and beauty a reality.
The Personality! Ariana is a highly self-motivated quick learner with strong communication and interpersonal skills. She is professional, well organized and highly multi-task oriented. A team player with a pitch in attitude, Ariana manages time efficiently and can always see the big picture. She is persistent, motivated, and self confident. She can interface with all levels, and excels in a fast paced, challenging environment and thrives under pressure.
Ariana’s artistic capabilities, creativity, and ability to visualize and think outside the box, in combination with her knowledge of makeup application and products are what contribute to her well-roundedness as an individual, as well as a makeup artist. Her favorite part of the makeup world is getting to connect and work with all different types of people.
